Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you as an individual. The protection of your personal data is very important to us, and we understand our responsibilities to handle your personal data with care, to keep it secure and to comply with legal requirements. Our priority is to preserve the confidentiality of your personal data contained in our knowledge, in order to ensure the smooth processing of all transactions between us, provide our best services, keep you regularly informed on our products, services & activities and enable your participation in our contests and giveaways as per our commercial & marketing strategy.

The Privacy Policy and Terms of Use are intended to describe when, why and how we collect and use personal data, the choices you have to decide how we use and process the data that concerns you, your access to it, the information and control of your personal data from your side, the data storage, as well as any other relevant topic.

The Privacy Policy is now more easily readable and clear to understand and explains in detail how we protect personal data. It stresses the fact that this data is neither rented nor sold or transferred to any third parties beyond the measure strictly necessary to fulfill our obligations. It also details if, how and why personal data may be shared & explains in detail how you can manage your data.

The Terms of use are now more easily readable and concise and clarify, among other things, that users are responsible for the content they publish. The company ensures that content posted on its websites directly from visitors (such as recipes, videos and/or photographs using the products of the company, audiovisual material, etc.), does not contain offensive materials or is not deemed by the company, at its free judgment, non-compliant or incompatible with the company’s style or compromising its business. It is also clarified that content posted on the website is deemed to belong as an original to you, but by posting it the license right is transferred to the company which can display, reuse, share and/or withdraw such content, and generally use it in its free will and according to the needs and purposes of the company.

Section 1 - WHAT information do we collect and how

 

We collect information to provide you with the highest quality of service, and the smooth and undisturbed processing of all transactions between us.

Most of the data pertaining to your person are collected directly from you when:

- You create an account for ordering/purchasing any product (e.g. contact details for order receipt, pricing, etc. including, but not limited to, name, domicile and/or work address, electronic communication address, credit card number, billing information, tax identification number, and competent tax authority)

- When you fill out contact forms or submit requests for assistance with human  
intervention/presence (e.g. telephone number, e-mail address, etc.)

- When you fill out contact forms to submit your information to receive regular or  
extraordinary updates, newsletters, offers & promotions of our company

- When you complete forms of participation in competitions, surveys, application for a  
job or participation in any way in activities promoted by our company which may require the provision of information about you

- When you publish directly content on the company's website and/or in the social network pages/accounts of the company (e.g. cooking recipes, photos and/or video of performing recipes or advice about health & well-being), which is related to the products of our company or the social network pages/accounts of our company

Information related to your account is collected regarding your use and visit of our websites and our online stores, our services, the frequency of access to the company's website, your preferences and the purchase of specific products, the frequency of your visits and purchases/orders, expiry dates, requests for information and service requests, feedback from you or complaints, as well as notes and details explaining what you asked for and how we responded.

However, we automatically collect additional information when you visit our websites and/or when you browse the online stores of our company and/or when you interact with them, regarding the traffic/view for specific products or the use of our services, including metadata, log files, cookies, device IDs and location information.

This information includes specific data about your interactions with features, content, and links (including third-party data such as social media add-ons) contained in the services, Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and settings, date and time of service usage, information about program configuration, language preferences and cookie data, information about the devices that access the services, including the device type, operating system used, device settings, application IDs, unique device IDs and error data. Some of the collected data may be used to approximate your location.

We may also receive additional data about you from other sources if you provide us with written authorization/consent for access to them, such as public databases or third-parties to which you have given the right of further transfer of data related to you, in which case we may combine this data with the information we already have about you, in order to update, expand and analyze our files and provide products and services that may be of interest to you.

Our websites & e-shops (stores) are hosted on Shopify Inc. (https://www.shopify.com/) and Strikingly Inc. ( https://www.strikingly.com/). They provide us with the online e-commerce platforms that allow us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored in their data storage systems, databases and the general Shopify & Strikingly applications. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Our social media pages are hosted on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn & Pinterest, and your data is stored securely in their data storage systems & databases.

Our contests, giveaways, referral programs & certain email marketing activities are hosted by Viral Loops ( https://viral-loops.com/). Your data is stored in their data storage systems, databases, and the general application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Our main email marketing provider is Mail Chimp ( https://mailchimp.com/). Your data is stored in their data storage systems, databases, and the general Mail Chimp application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

We strongly recommend that you read their respective privacy policies, so you can understand the way your personal information will be handled by these providers.

We may share your personal data with cooperating companies in the context of the completion of our contracts (e.g. ordering products, paying them, delivery to your address of choice) and/or our group companies or our subsidiaries, and/or to third-parties and to reputable third-party service providers we work with to perform services on our behalf, such as:

- Processing credit card payments
